This spot, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Stay the night at Buck Creek Campgrounds, and there are other sites here than Lake Tahoma, for example Morgan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Catawba River near Lake Tahoma. So much cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. A good site for whitewater paddling right next door to Lake Tahoma is Catawba River       - North Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Marion. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and Lake Tahoma Dam is stunning. Lake Tahoma is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Having a tremendous time at Lake Tahoma is simple. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Tahoma has to offer, you can camp at Triple C Campground; some of the water close by flows, like Bee                  Branch. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Tahoma, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Tahoma dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
