    Beautiful Lake Sequoyah has much to offer visitors. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Get drenched paddling on Cullasaja River; a lake close by is Cliffside Lake. For the duration of the summer here at Lake Sequoyah, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Sequoyah  
   temperatures sink to the 20's. All year is a brilliant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Big Dog Mountain can be made out from Lake Sequoyah, and Bridal Veil Falls is an inspiring spot to go to while here.
Near Lake Sequoyah you hit upon the Three Forks Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Lake Sequoyah is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Vanhook Glade Campground is a nice local campground. This place, Lake Sequoyah, it simply
 
               has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Old Edwards Inn and Spa, and going for a hike on the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail is always a wonderful adventure. There's so much to do here at Lake Sequoyah that you need to camp here for a while, Van Hook Glade Campground is a wonderful location for that, and some nearby water includes Big Creek.
But wait, there's more to do close to Lake Sequoyah. Sequoyah Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and the Shortoff Mountain Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. Lake Sequoyah is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Scaly Mountain, and a round of golf at nearby Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis is a glorious way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Really fine skiing awaits you at Sky Valley; The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a great location to get some rest. Lake Sequoyah sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is March while October is mostly the driest month.
