Lake Sequoyah is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's fine hiking along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail; Vanhook Glade Campground is a great campground nearby. Be careful coming to Lake Sequoyah, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There's whitewater on Cullasaja River for all you adrenaline junkies, and do put some time aside to spend       at Bridal Veil Falls since you're here at Lake Sequoyah. Lake Sequoyah sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is commonly the driest month. Good hiking is available along the Three Forks Trail, and nice water scenery is available at Sequoyah Dam near Lake Sequoyah. Having a pleasant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is trouble-free. Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Half Mile                  Farm; in the neighborhood of Lake Sequoyah you find a golf course called Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Sequoyah without first going for a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail, and if you need a location to stay Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are perfect; Mirror Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Lake Sequoyah; the slopes of Sky Valley are so inviting noone can resist. The vista of delightful Big Dog Mountain near Lake Sequoyah is nice, and everyone close by loves skiing at Scaly Mountain. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Sequoyah. Van Hook Glade Campground is a good local campground. For the duration of the summer at Lake Sequoyah temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, typically in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Sequoyah. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. This is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes.
