The smiling folks of Raleigh-Cary like to hang out close by, and Eagle Ridge Golf Course & Restaurant is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, NCSU Pond Number One is close by, and a good close by hotel is Brownstone Hotel. Lake Raleigh gets much water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. Through the summertime highs here       at Lake Raleigh reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Raleigh temperatures fall to the 20's. It's a great idea to take a look at Simmons Branch, it's in the vicinity of Lake Raleigh, and the scenery at Lake Johnson Dam is pretty. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Lake Raleigh. Camping                  at Camptown RV is always a wonderful experience.
