In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Plaza is one of them. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Pawtuckett Golf Club. Here at Lake Plaza there are plenty of people from Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord; if you've had enough of Lake Plaza, Hechenbleikner Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Paramount's Carowinds Campground, and Ramada Inn Charlotte is a tremendous spot to get some rest.

A great deal of precipitation falls at Lake Plaza; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. At Lake Plaza all through the summer months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Plaza dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
