Little River is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Lake McKay, and camping at Lazy Acres is always a perfect experience. Lake McKay usually gets a great deal of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and November meanwhile is the driest month. Through the summertime months here at       Lake McKay, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lake McKay all through the wintertime generally sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Gibsons Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake McKay; Campbell Creek Loop is                  a good local trail, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SPRING LAKE-FT. BRAGG/POPE AFB is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Fayetteville here, and Hampton Inn Spring Lake Ft Bragg is a good place to get some rest. The Fish Camp Trail offers hiking at its best; Lake McKay is not the only site nearby, Lake Holton is a nearby lake. This place, Lake McKay, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff.
