Looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Branch, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Little River. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake McCrady; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is generally the driest month. You truly have to like the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll meet a lot of folks from Asheville here; after a long day outdoors Hendersonville-Days       Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake McCrady you locate Tobacco Barn Field which is a great site to check out, and why not camp at Alpine woods RV Park if you're here at Lake McCrady. Crooked Creek Golf Club is a golf course close to Lake McCrady; don't leave Lake McCrady without first going for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a trip to Blue Ridge Parkway                  while you're here at Lake McCrady, and you can go for a hike on the Mullinax Trail. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do close to Lake McCrady. You simply have to stop at High Rocks if you're here at Lake McCrady. Lakes? Sure, Wolf Lake is in close proximity. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Good hiking is available along the Shut-In Trail; not far from Lake McCrady you'll stumble on Kanuga Lake which is a gorgeous lake. So many entertaining things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too tremendous to be true. At Lake McCrady you can distinguish Bollers Knob, and The Waverly Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake McCrady, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lake McCrady dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
