This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Moore Lake in the vicinity of Lake Maree is a nice site to go to, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Wadesboro is a delightful choice. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. You don’t have to go far from Lake Maree to make out the water at Lake Maree       Dam, and it's a delightful idea to go to Brush Fork. Cheraw State Recreation Area is a nice local campground; people from Rockingham love to come here. Lake Maree sees pretty high levels of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain; April on the other hand is the driest. Norwood Camping Resort is a glorious campground nearby; Jameson Inn Cheraw is a good place to get some rest. Through the long summer days highs here at Lake Maree get into                  the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's.
