This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club, and a round of golf at nearby Pine Horse Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time. Don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Polecat Creek, and there are other spots here than Lake MacArthur, for       example Lake Bay. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Lake MacArthur has it all. Very tremendous water scenery is available at NC Noname Forty-Three Dam near Lake MacArthur, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Little River. Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club is a splendid location to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Pine Lake Campground is a good place to camp. Summertime highs at Lake MacArthur usually tend                  to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake MacArthur temperatures drop to the 20's. Camping is available at Heritage Camping and Recreation.
