Get yourself into a kayak and hit Neuse River, and camping at Champion Cheerleading Camps is always a great experience. At Dam Number Twenty-Two B Crabtree Creek Watershed right next door to Lake Lynn there are some interesting things to see. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Lynn a relatively wet place; August is the month that gets the most rain while April is ordinarily the driest month. Beaverdam Lake
 | 11 miles away Beaverdam Lake is really a part of Falls Lake. It is approximately fifteen minutes north of the I-540 beltway on Highway 50. Beaverdam Lake is separated from the main lake by a partial dam and bridge. It is approximately 500 acres in size.
Beaverdam Lake is restricted; no gasoline engines are allowed. This makes it a great place for kayaks, canoes, sailboats and electric-motor propelled boats. It has a very nice concrete boat ramp and adjacent dock, and has a very large parking lot. Adjacent to the boat launching ramp is a nice sand beach with floats delineating the swimming area and a small pavilion. ... |
