If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Lake Louise. Lake Louise is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here; October is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Lake Louise you can take a hike along the Shut-In Trail, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a delightful national park. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. | | the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike along the Side Hill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and golf can be played at Reems Creek Golf Club. During the summer at Lake Louise temperatures are usually in the 80's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 60's. a good local campground, and this is a popular spot for people from Asheville. A tremendous vista of gorgeous Baird Mountain is available from Lake Louise, and Ski Beech is a great local ski area. This place, Lake Louise, it completely
has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. French Broad River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Herron Cove is in close proximity, and is a good spot. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Louise. Why not camp at Campfire
Lodgings while you're here at Lake Louise, and the slopes of Wolf Laurel are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, and on a tremendous day you can
take a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. All the outdoors fun things in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Whitewater paddling is good
on Swannanoa River, and let's not forget Gill Branch which is a stream that you may encounter while here. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Beaver Lake while you're here at Lake Louise; it's nearby, and after a long day outdoors Asheville Days Inn Woodfin is a great site to spend a night or two.
