Lake Louise is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. For the period of the summer months at Lake Louise temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures       are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Louise dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Lake Louise you can take a hike along the Dogwood Trail; there's whitewater on New River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lake Louise gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through May, and January is the month with the least moisture. New River Canoe Rentals is a glorious local campground, and the wonderful people of North Wilkesboro like to hang out nearby. Just can't get enough of Lake Louise.
