If you came for an overnight stay Campfire Lodgings is a great place to camp, and Lake Kenilworth is right by the Laurel Mountain Trail. At Lake Kenilworth through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are       commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Kenilworth dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Much precipitation falls at Lake Kenilworth; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Asheville, and Wolf Laurel is a very popular ski area close by. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things                  in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lake Kenilworth Dam is an exciting thing to check out. A lake close by is Kenilworth Lake, and a good place for whitewater paddling is French Broad River. Beaucatcher Mountain is painless to spot from Lake Kenilworth, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Asheville here. Azalea Country Campground is a tremendous campground here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Shut-In Trail. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lake Kenilworth. Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the destinations close to Lake Kenilworth that are splendid to go to; a round of golf at nearby Municipal Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Swannanoa River, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Beech in the neighborhood. Lake Kenilworth is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Lake Kenilworth. While staying at Lake Kenilworth you could always look at Chunn Cove, and Days Inn Asheville Mall is a glorious place to get some rest. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all.
