Go to Lake Hogan if you want to go to a nice lake. Lake Hogan ordinarily gets a large amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. Big Hill can be spotted from Lake Hogan, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Durham. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Blackwoods Lake while you're here at Lake Hogan; it's nearby.

Lake Hogan beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. If you're here at Lake Hogan and you like golf, you can pop by Twin Lakes Golf Course. There are some splendid whitewater spots on New Hope Creek, and after a long day outdoors Inn Town Chapel Hill is a great place to spend a night or two. There's
whitewater on Eno River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and do have a look at Lake Hogan Dam if you're here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Hogan. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Hogan descend into the 20's.
