Lake Hickory gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Hickory, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Hickory temperatures plunge to the 20's. Any time is a good time at Lake Hickory if you fancy the outdoors.                  This lake is so wonderful.
