This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Glenville you can distinguish Chestnut Mountain, and if you get bored of Lake Glenville you could also stop by nearby Jenkins Lake. During the summertime at Lake Glenville highs are mostly in the 80's. All through the       dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Glenville dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Norton Creek, and if you came to camp Arrowmont Stables and Cabins is a good location to do that. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are really abundant here at Lake Glenville. Glenville Dam is worth taking a look at if you're                  here; Betsy Falls is a picturesque spot to go to while you're at Lake Glenville. So much enjoyable stuff close to Lake Glenville, definitely astonishing. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Cataloochee; The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a brilliant place to get some rest. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. If the weather is fine here at Lake Glenville, you can go for a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail, and Trout Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a fine time. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Glenville a pretty wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a place to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a splendid choice, and the Ellicott Rock Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Scaly Mountain is magnificent, and get drenched paddling on Tuckasegee River - West Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don't forget to take a nice little visit to Betsy Branch.
