    Lake Glenville is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Glenville while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Glenville. This place, Lake Glenville, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Singing waters Camping Resort is a brilliant campground nearby, and  
   if you need a site to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a wonderful choice. Lake Glenville sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
So much entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. Skiing at Scaly Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at
 
               Glenville Dam. At Lake Glenville you can distinguish Chestnut Mountain; since you're here you can take a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Really good skiing awaits you at Cataloochee. Lakes? Sure, Tuckasegee Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Betsy Branch is a good place to pop by, and going for a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Stay the night at Arrowmont Stables and Cabins, and there's whitewater on Norton Creek for all you adrenaline people.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy a round of golf at High Hampton Inn & Country Club not far from Lake Glenville, and after a long day outdoors Sapphire Valley Resort is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Trout Lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Ellicott Rock Trail. But wait, there's more to do next to Lake Glenville. A short visit to Betsy Falls is always worthwhile, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Tuckasegee River - West Fork.
