Lake Frances truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Avery Creek flows through this neighborhood; you could always look at Andy Cove. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Looking Glass Creek; a great close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Brevard. Through the warm days of summer at Lake Frances temperatures are commonly       in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Lake Frances. Lake Frances is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is October. A nice spot to camp here at Lake Frances is Cove Creek Campground, and playing golf is lots of fun at Connestee Falls Golf Club. Whohoo, so much entertaining                  stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains rules! While you're here at Lake Frances you can take a hike along the Black Mountain Trail; Dodsworth Spring is always fun to check out. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the vicinity of Lake Frances has to offer. There's always Siniard Lower Dam to stop at near Lake Frances. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place for whitewater paddling near Lake Frances is Davidson River, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Buck Spring Trail. If the weather is great here at Lake Frances, you can go for a hike along the Mullinax Trail, and on a wonderful day you obtain a great view of Burl Mountain from Lake Frances. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The fine folks of Brevard like to hang out close by, and you'll find a pretty lake called Brevard Music Center Lake. Lake Frances is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
