Go to Lake Emory if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Emory you stumble on the Stewart Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Franklin Golf Course. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's always Lake Emory Dam to stop at next to Lake Emory, and if you need a spot to stay Franklin-Days Inn is a great choice. Having a nice time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is easy. Cat Creek is

| | near Lake Emory and is always a diversion to have a look at; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Cullasaja River.
But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Gage Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Lake Emory, and Comfort Inn Franklin is a good place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Hurricane Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cartoogechaye River. Lake Emory | |

is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Emory is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Riverbend Rv Resort & Campground is a wonderful local campground, and the skiing at Scaly
Mountain is brilliant. If you came to camp Mi Mountain Campground is a great place to do that. The high level of rain makes Lake Emory a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the
driest month of the year is October.
During the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Lake Emory. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down
during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Emory plunge into the 20's. Lyle Knob is gorgeous and can be observed from Lake Emory; everybody nearby loves skiing at Sky Valley.
