Lake Emory is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Head up to Scaly Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and going for a hike on the Hurricane Creek Trail is always a great adventure. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Emory. The snow is nice at Sky Valley.       This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Franklin is a wonderful choice; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Stewart Trail. Be careful coming to Lake Emory, you might not ever want to return home again. Stay the night at Mi Mountain Campground; Whites Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. So many cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just striking. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Franklin, and playing golf is                  lots of fun at Franklin Golf Course. Lakes? Sure, Pine Hill Trailer Park Lake is in close proximity, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Gage Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Emory Dam is a place that is near Lake Emory. There's so much to do here at Lake Emory that you need to camp here for a while, Riverbend Rv Resort & Campground is a perfect location for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Cullasaja River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; Cat Creek is near Lake Emory and is always a diversion to have a look at. For the period of the summer months at Lake Emory temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Emory.
