This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Salem Glen Country Club not far from Lake Desmond, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express CLEMMONS (WINSTON/SALEM AREA) is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Yadkin River. Tanglewood Family Resort is a pleasant campground nearby, and do go to Lake Falmouth,       it's a picturesque lake. High temperatures at Lake Desmond all through the summertime are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows throughout the winter for Lake Desmond tend to be in the 20's. But wait, there's more to do next to Lake Desmond. Lake Desmond is a place with many visitors from Winston-Salem, and not far from Lake Desmond you get some great water                  scenery at Lake Desmond Dam.
