North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Lake Curtis is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. So many cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just amazing. While you're here at Lake Curtis you can play some golf at Kenmure Country Club, and whitewater paddling is good on Green River. Lake Curtis sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; January on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Lake Curtis. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and the summit of Dodging Hill can be spotted from Lake Curtis. spot to camp, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Hungry Creek.
Looking for something near Lake Curtis? Hosea Lake is close by; Lakewood Rv Resort is a
wonderful campground nearby. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. For the period of the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Lake Curtis while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Highs all through the
winter are ordinarily in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Curtis.
