Lake Curtis is a lake worth visiting. Stay the night at Orchard Lake Campground, and the nice folks of Asheville like to hang out close by. At Lake Curtis through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Curtis dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.

| | is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Some nearby water includes Beck Creek, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Big Hungry Creek. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Curtis. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hendersonville-Flat Rock,Nc is a nice choice, unsurprisingly you could also go to Larry Ball Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.

stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. Dodging Hill is painless to spot from Lake Curtis, and Green River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Kenmure
Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at Mountain Lodge Flat Rock. Lake Curtis is a quite wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain; January on the other hand is the driest.
There's
no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pegram Lake Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's near Lake Curtis. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Curtis has to offer, you can camp at Red Gates.
