    Lake Coma is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. One of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Lake Coma is Britton Mountain. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Coma has to offer, you can camp at Arden RV Park and Camp Grounds. Take a hike on the Laurel Mountain Trail, and Ski Beech is a very popular ski area close at hand. Summertime highs at Lake Coma mostly  
   tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Lake Coma tend to be in the 20's.
Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Asheville-Airport-I-26, Nc, and a good spot to visit is Buck Shoals. So many cool things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains,
 
               too great to be true. Lake Coma is right by the Shut-In Trail; Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the destinations that are pleasant to explore close by. All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you like the outdoors. Lake Coma is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Parkway Lane RV Park is a delightful spot to camp nearby.
Lake Coma is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Avery Creek is a great local stream, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend French Broad River. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lake Coma. Frady Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Broadmoor Golf Links is a golf course nearby.
While you're here at Lake Coma, you could also stop by gorgeous Dubose Lake, and there are some good whitewater spots on Swannanoa River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Side Hill Trail; NC Noname Two-Hundred Sixty Dam is stunning. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites South is a great choice, and Lake Coma is a place with many visitors from Asheville.
Lake Coma is a relatively wet place ordinarily with lots of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain while October is typically the driest month.
