    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Coma. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on French Broad River is so much fun; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites South is a splendid choice. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Coma. Lake Julian is a nearby lake that you could check out, and pretty scenery and fine skiing is what you acquire at Ski Beech. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Blue  
   Ridge Mountains has to offer. Enjoy a round of golf at Broadmoor Golf Links not far from Lake Coma.
NC Noname Two-Hundred Sixty Dam has great water scenery and it's in close proximity to Lake Coma; Lake Coma is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Arden RV Park and Camp Grounds is a fine site to camp nearby.                probability meet some folks from Asheville; at Lake Coma you can distinguish Britton Mountain. Lake Coma gets a great deal of water; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October.
Summertime highs at Lake Coma typically tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Coma during the wintertime frequently fall into the 20's. There's some flowing water nearby, Avery Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and a fine place to stop by is Buck Shoals. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is unbeatable! A glorious close by hotel is Holiday Inn Asheville-Airport-I-26, Nc; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Laurel Mountain Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lake Coma, you could also have a look at nearby Dubose Lake, and do pay a visit to Blue Ridge Parkway while you're here at Lake Coma. Lake Coma is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking along the Shut-In Trail is wonderful fun, and whitewater paddling is great on Swannanoa River.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Lake Coma. Lake Coma is right by the Side Hill Trail, and Parkway Lane RV Park is a good local campground.
