The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Cherokee. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Cherokee. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Turtletown Creek, and do have a look at Persimmon Lake, it's a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful.
