Do stop by Perma Stone Lake near Lake Charles, it's a gorgeous lake, and you can run the rapids of Little River. High temperatures at Lake Charles through the warmest time of the year are       in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; night lows during the winter for Lake Charles tend to be in the 20's. There's so much to do here at Lake Charles that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Acres is a nice location for that, and golf can be played at Hope Mills Golf Course.
