    If you are in Alamance county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Cammack. The high level of rain makes Lake Cammack a reasonably wet place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. Quality Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest; Hidden Lake Campgrounds is a pleasant campground nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Reedy Fork Creek offers some good whitewater;
 
   don't forget to take a great little tour to Buttermilk Creek. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Lake Burlington is one of those nearby, and this is a popular place for folks from Burlington. Just can't get enough of Lake Cammack. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Burlington is a good place to spend a night or two, and Lake Cammack is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Cane Creek Campground and RV Park is a great spot to camp nearby.
 
               Lakes are great; Lake Burlington Sediment Pool is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Lake Cammack, and wonderful water scenery is available at Lake Cammack Dam near Lake Cammack. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Lake Cammack, high temperatures typically reach the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Cammack temperatures descend to the 20's.
