Lake Butner is a pretty wet place commonly with lots of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is April. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really plentiful here at Lake Butner. Camping is available at Birchwood RV Park, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close       by Durham. This is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Gantt Lake is a lake in close proximity; Lake Butner Water Supply Dam is a lovely site. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant; Nye Pond Number One is a lake that's near Lake Butner, and a great location to camp here at Lake Butner is Holly Grove Campground.
