After a long day outdoors Days Inn Columbus Tryon is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Brights Creek Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Lake Adger that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Creek Campground and whitewater Outfitters is a wonderful spot for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby       Kaye Thompson Lake. At Lake Adger through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Adger. Lake Adger sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Any time is a good time at Lake Adger if you go for the outdoors.                  There's whitewater on Green River for all you thrill seekers, and why not take a little tour to Britten Creek since you're here. Near Lake Adger you hit upon fine places like Spicer Cove, and a spree to close by Jackson Cove is very relaxing. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
