A visit to Lake Adger is always a good idea. All through the summer at Lake Adger temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Adger dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Mountains (Vri) is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Britten Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay, and Columbus/Tryon Days Inn is a nice place to get some rest. This lake
is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don't forget to explore Jackson Cove while you're here at Lake Adger, and a great location to camp here at Lake Adger is Hitching Post Campground.
