If you came to camp Kings Mountain State Park is a great place to do that. There's so much to do here at Knox Surratt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Park Campground is a fine site for that, and why not stop by Knox Surratt Dam while you're here. All the outdoors cool stuff next to Knox Surratt Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Shelby-Days Inn is a wonderful location       to get some rest, and soar down the rapids of Kings Branch in a kayak. Paddling on Broad River is so much fun; needless to say Bear Creek flows through this neighborhood. If you get bored of Knox Surratt Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Fiber Industies Water Supply Lake; there are plenty of people from Gaffney here at Knox Surratt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Knox Surratt Lake is not the only place nearby, Gaston Shoals Reservoir is a nearby                  lake, and if you need a place to stay Shelby Super 8 Motel is a nice choice. A lot of precipitation falls at Knox Surratt Lake; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Knox Surratt Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
