Summertime at Kleine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a little colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail, and Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club is a pleasant golf course nearby. Horse Shoe Bend is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Kleine Lake; hey, Battle Creek is a wonderful local                  stream. Don't miss out on a journey to Blue Ridge Parkway while you're here at Kleine Lake, and the slopes of Ski Beech are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Etowah Valley Country Club is a perfect choice; at Kleine Lake you always meet someone from Asheville. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kleine Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little River, and the Shut-In Trail offers hiking at its best. A pleasant vista of gorgeous Brock Mountain is available from Kleine Lake, and Greens View Lodge is a brilliant spot to get some rest. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Kleine Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camping at Mountain Laurel Resort is always a glorious experience, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River.
