If you are in Stokes county it's always a good idea to stop by Kiser Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Moores Knob Trail is a perfect hiking trail right next door to Kiser Lake; Kiser Lake is a splendid site to camp, Sunset Park Campground is a splendid site. There are some good whitewater spots on Big Creek, and Moores Springs Campground on the Dan River is a fine campground here. High temperatures at Kiser Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's.

| | For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Kiser Lake all through the wintertime frequently descend into the 20's.

the ordinary things to see. The top of Ruben Mountain is easily seen from Kiser Lake, and going for a hike on the Cascade Trail is always a great adventure.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Kiser Lake. After a long day
outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a fine location to spend a night or two, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Cooks Wall Trail. Take a little spree to Rocky Branch while you're here at Kiser Lake, and the smiling
folks of Winston-Salem like to hang out nearby. Kiser Lake gets much water; all through July this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
