Kinsey Jones Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Maxwell Mill Campground is a delightful local campground, and you'll come across a picturesque lake called Dails Pond. Kinsey Jones Pond truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Summer brings highs in the       80's to Kinsey Jones Pond while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Kinsey Jones Pond temperatures fall to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Kinsey Jones Pond is Whippoorwill Campground, and Sleep Inn Mount Olive is a fine place to get some rest. Kinsey Jones Pond regularly gets lots of rainfall; most of the                  rain falls all through July, and the driest of the months is October.
