A visit to Kings Pond is always a good idea. Brier Creek Reservoir is a pleasant lake close to Kings Pond; folks from Raleigh-Cary love to come here. If you come at the right time of year, Neuse River offers some magnificent whitewater. Kings Pond is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is April.

| | a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Raleigh-Durham Airport, Nc is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and Lake Shore Golf Course is a golf course close by. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Kings Pond highs are typically in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 60's. who don’t like to have fun. There's so much to do here at Kings Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood RV Park is a tremendous place for that, and do check out Kings Pond Dam if you're here.
A perfect close by
hotel is Ameri Suites; there's some flowing water nearby, Little Brier Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Kings Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Holly Grove Campground is a good local campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Eno River.
