Here at Kiest Lake there are plenty of folks from Fayetteville; NC Noname Forty-Four Dam is pretty. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp Heritage Camping and Recreation is a nice place to do that. Kiest Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a tremendous       local campground, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to McKellars Pond. And that's not all you can do here at Kiest Lake. Hector Creek is a stunning stream that is worth a visit, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Little River. This lake is so wonderful. Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a splendid spot to get some rest, and you'll come across a scenic lake called Upper McKellars Pond. At Kiest Lake during the days of summer highs                  are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Kiest Lake drop into the 20's.
