What a nice lake Kiest Lake is. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kiest Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Kiest Lake drop into the 20's. A great place to camp here at Kiest Lake is Lazy Acres, and NC Noname Forty-Four Dam is a striking location. The high level of rain makes Kiest Lake a rather wet place;

| | July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is November. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little River; Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Kiest Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Heritage Camping and Recreation is always a fine experience, and if you're dropping by from Fayetteville, you won't be the only one. | |

Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb, and some close by water includes Hector Creek.
