After a long day outdoors Value Place Shelby is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Kings Branch. All the outdoors cool things near Kennedy Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Camping at Kings Mountain State Park is always a delightful experience, and golf can be played at Pine Grove Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americ Inn Regional       Office; if you get bored of Kennedy Lake you could also stop by close by Hendricks Lake. Do go to Kennedy Lake Dam while you're here at Kennedy Lake, and there's whitewater on First Broad for all you adrenaline kick people. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kennedy Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; night lows through the wintertime for Kennedy Lake tend                  to be in the 20's.
