In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Hungry Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Mullinax Trail. All through the long summer days highs here at Kenmure Pond get into       the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. You could also explore Lake Falls while you're here at Kenmure Pond; it's nearby, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a splendid site nearby.
