Kaye Thompson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kaye Thompson Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at Kaye Thompson Lake throughout the wintertime mostly dip into the 20's. So much amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. This       lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Silver Creek Campground and whitewater Outfitters since you're here at Kaye Thompson Lake, and for you golfers we recommend close by Apple Valley Golf Course. Kaye Thompson Dam is not far at all from Kaye Thompson Lake, and do have a look at Britten Creek while you're here at Kaye Thompson Lake. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. A great close by hotel is Fairfield Mountains Resort, and                  folks from Forest City love to come here. Kaye Thompson Lake regularly gets a good deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
