Days Inn Winston Salem North is a nice spot to get some rest; Reynolds Park Golf Course is a golf course nearby. It's a fine idea to stop at Fivemile Branch, it's in the neighborhood of Jones Pond, and there's great hiking along the Cascade Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Paddling on Dan River is so       much fun; good hiking is available along the Hanging Rock Trail. Jones Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Why not camp at Tanglewood Family Resort since you're here at Jones Pond, and the fine people of Winston-Salem like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn Coliseum is a splendid choice; Pineview Lake is a nearby                  lake that you could stop at. Get wet paddling on Dan River. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Dalton Pond near Jones Pond, it's a striking lake, and Beason Stoltz Dam is not far at all from Jones Pond. High temperatures at Jones Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
