This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Johnstons Pond-B is The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, and Johnson Pond Dam Number Two is not far at all from Johnstons Pond-B. What a location this is for outdoors people. Camping is available at Cattail Creek Campground. Johnstons Pond-B sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while April is ordinarily the driest       month. You'll find a picturesque lake called Johnson Pond Number Four near Johnstons Pond-B, and a great nearby hotel is Weldon - Days Inn Roanoke Rapids.
