Summertime highs at James Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to James Pond. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at James Pond.       The friendly people of Rockingham like to hang out close by. Terry Pond is a good lake close to James Pond; an afternoon playing golf at Loch Haven Golf Course is always a pleasure. All the water falling down from the sky makes James Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful.
