The warmest time of the year at Jacksons Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Jacksons Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Warren Millpond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and why not go to       Jacksons Pond Dam while you're here. A lake nearby is McLambs Pond; Laurel Lakes Campground and Music Park is a brilliant local campground. Be careful coming to Jacksons Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. Fayetteville Koa is a perfect campground nearby. It's a good idea to stop by Hornet Swamp, it's next to Jacksons Pond, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Dunn is a good choice.
