At J and J Fishing Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at J and J Fishing Lake are in the 20's. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. J and J Fishing Lake is a rather wet place usually with a great deal of precipitation;       through July this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hit the slopes at Wolf Laurel close at hand. Red Roof Inn Asheville West is a great place to get some rest, and while you're here you can play some golf at Municipal Golf Course. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to                  stay Comfort Inn West is a pleasant choice, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Asheville here. Deaver View Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from J and J Fishing Lake, and the Laurel Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Bear Creek RV Park and Campground is always a nice experience, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit J and J Trout Lake. You absolutely must fancy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around J and J Fishing Lake; Shut-In Trail is a great local trail, and of course, all our national parks are glorious sites to explore and Blue Ridge Parkway is no exception. Some close by water includes McKinnish Branch; French Broad River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Paddling on Walnut Creek is so much fun, and camping is available at French Broad River Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Side Hill Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Beech. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near J and J Fishing Lake.
