A great deal of rain falls at J and J Fishing Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. J and J Fishing Lake is not far at all from Asheville, and Comfort Inn West is a magnificent site to get some rest. This location, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting       things. Hit the slopes at Wolf Laurel close by, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Asheville West is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. J and J Fishing Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, R V Park & Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and hiking along the Shut-In Trail is good fun. All through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at J and J Fishing Lake, and during the                  night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for J and J Fishing Lake. J and J Fishing Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So many exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. The sights at Blue Ridge Parkway will blow your mind; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of French Broad River. Bear Creek RV Park and Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and Ski Beech has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You get a magnificent view of Deaver View Mountain from J and J Fishing Lake, and a wonderful place to explore is Cowan Cove. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Going for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Walnut Creek. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do next to J and J Fishing Lake. J and J Fishing Lake is right by the Side Hill Trail, and a lovely lake like Starnes Cove Lakes is a tremendous location to explore.
