You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. The snow is splendid at Hawksnest, and dry warm beds await you at Beech Mountain Inns. Inver Lochy Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is May while December is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't imagine the amount       of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Inver Lochy Lake has to offer. Inver Lochy Dam is a place that is near Inver Lochy Lake, and Best Western Mountain Lodge At Banner Elk is a great site to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Inver Lochy Lake. Mountain Glen Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and hiking along the Laurel Fork Trail is good fun. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains rules!                  If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugar Mountain is right next door to Inver Lochy Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Grandmother Lake. Throughout the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Inver Lochy Lake while night lows are mostly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Inver Lochy Lake dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Inver Lochy Lake, checking out Linville Bluffs is a must, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Daniel Boone Scout Trail. Why not camp at Flintlock Campground since you're here at Inver Lochy Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lost Cove Creek. Having a magnificent time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is trouble-free. There are plenty of people from Boone here at Inver Lochy Lake, and a splendid site to camp here at Inver Lochy Lake is Grandfather Campground and Cabins. A good view of lovely Calloway Peak is available from Inver Lochy Lake; do take a hike on the Yancey Ridge Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Gragg Prong River. Lakes are splendid; Grandfather Mountain Lake is a lake that's near Inver Lochy Lake.
