     Comfort Inn Cross Creek is a splendid place to get some rest, and needless to say, this is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes, Loraine Lake is a lake close by. Here at Hutaff Lake there are plenty of folks from Fayetteville, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Lommond Lake. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Hutaff Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Little River; on a delightful day you acquire  
   a great vista of Caisson Hill from Hutaff Lake. NC Noname Eighty-Two Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and a great close by hotel is Value Place Fayetteville CD.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hutaff Lake while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hutaff Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               Ole Bluff Golf Course is a good golf course close by, and why not camp at Lazy Acres if you're here at Hutaff Lake.
Hutaff Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest of the months is November.

I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
