Huckleberry Pond is a quite wet place generally with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during July; April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Huckleberry Pond is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Heritage Camping and Recreation is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some delightful                  whitewater; if you've had enough of Huckleberry Pond, Blue Brothers Pond is nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Huckleberry Pond, too delightful to be true. A pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANFORD, and there are some great whitewater spots on Deep River. Summertime highs at Huckleberry Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows all through the winter for Huckleberry Pond tend to be in the 20's.
