Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Lincolnton, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not explore Maiden Water Plant Lake. A quick journey to Carpenter Creek in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Lake is a great idea, and get wet paddling on Catawba River - South Fork. So many amusing things to do here at Horseshoe Lake, too splendid to be true. A great location to camp here at Horseshoe       Lake is Balls Creek Campground. Horseshoe Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while April is frequently the driest month. Throughout the summertime months at Horseshoe Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 60's.
