You don’t have to go far from Holyfield Lake to see the water at Holyfield Lake Dam, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Fisher River. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Elkin Jonesville is a fine place to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Holyfield Lake, Willowbrook Lake is close by. Holyfield Lake usually gets a large amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with       the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Dogwood Trail. There's so much to do here at Holyfield Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Homeplace Recreational Park is a magnificent spot for that. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Holyfield Lake. Stay the night at Holly Ridge Family Campground,                  and if you're popping by from Mount Airy, you won't be the only one. So many fun things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too glorious to be true. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pine Ridge Classic Golf Course & Driving Range, and glide down the rapids of Mitchell River in a kayak. Summertime at Holyfield Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Holyfield Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Bryson Inn, and Holyfield Lake is not the only spot close by, Cedarbrook Lake is a close by lake.
