Holyfield Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So many exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Holly Ridge Family Campground is always a nice experience, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Elkin Jonesville. There's always Holyfield Lake Dam to go to close to Holyfield Lake, and a great spot to camp here at       Holyfield Lake is Homeplace Recreational Park. Throughout the summertime months at Holyfield Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Holyfield Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. You absolutely must like Holyfield Lake. Get drenched paddling on Fisher River, and don't leave Holyfield Lake without first going for                  a hike along the Dogwood Trail. This spot, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Mitchell River, and Pine Ridge Classic Golf Course & Driving Range is a delightful golf course nearby. You're sure to bump into some nice folks from Mount Airy here, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Bryson Inn is a perfect choice.
