This lake is so wonderful. Holyfield Lake is right by the Dogwood Trail, and you can run the rapids of Mitchell River. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Holyfield Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Surry Inn. There's so much to do here at Holyfield Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holly Ridge Family Campground is a great location for that. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place!       The Blue Ridge Mountains is peerless!. If you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Elkin Jonesville is a wonderful choice, and Holyfield Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Utt's Campground is a good local campground. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Holyfield Lake is not far at all from Mount Airy; Fisher River is a good whitewater spot nearby. Golf can be played                  at Pine Ridge Classic Golf Course & Driving Range, and there's always Holyfield Lake Dam to have a look at in the neighborhood of Holyfield Lake. Through the warm days of summer at Holyfield Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's.
