This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Having a splendid time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is easy. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Bryson Inn is a great choice, and don't leave Holyfield Lake without first going for a hike along the Dogwood Trail. The high level of rain makes Holyfield Lake       a rather wet site; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camping is available at Homeplace Recreational Park, and while you're here, you could also go to picturesque Willowbrook Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on                  Fisher River; you'll find a pretty lake called Cedarbrook Lake. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Holyfield Lake is peerless! Do go to Holyfield Lake Dam while you're here at Holyfield Lake, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Mitchell River. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Pine Ridge Classic Golf Course & Driving Range, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Elkin Jonesville is a good location to spend a night or two. At Holyfield Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
