This lake is so wonderful. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Holts Mill Pond Dam near Holts Pond; a lake close by is Sylvinia Lake. During the summertime here at Holts Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's       overnight here at Holts Pond. There are plenty of people from Goldsboro here at Holts Pond, and Browns Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Holts Pond is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest of the months is November.
