On a great day at Holly Berry Mountain Lake you can take a hike along the Ellicott Rock Trail; delightful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Scaly Mountain. That right there is loads of cool things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by
