All through the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Holloman Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 40's; night lows at Holloman Pond throughout the wintertime generally drop into the 20's. While staying at Holloman       Pond you could always explore Buck Shoals, and going for a hike along the Mullinax Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Holloman Pond Dam is not far at all from Holloman Pond, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Asheville Airport is a great spot to spend a night or two. Why not camp at Rutledge Lake Travel Park while you're here at Holloman Pond, and hiking along the Shut-In Trail is pleasant fun. So many                  amusing things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just impressive. Lakes are such serene places, why not go to Innisfree Lake next to Holloman Pond, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a fine location close by. And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Holloman Pond is right by the Side Hill Trail, and camping is available at Rutledge Lake RV Park.
