Beautiful Holiday Lake Upper has much to offer visitors. If you come at the right time of year, Deep River offers some nice whitewater, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Sanford here. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Bear Creek, and a lake nearby is Holiday Lake.

Hiking along the Lanier Falls Trail is good fun; swing by Persimmon Creek it's a nice location to stop at.

If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sanford Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and Days Inn Of Sanford is a good place to get some rest.
