Holiday Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Heritage Camping and Recreation is a splendid site to camp nearby; Holiday Lake is a place with many visitors from Sanford. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Sky View Lake, and Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is a fine local campground. You can take a little tour to Holiday Lake Dam Lower if you're here at Holiday Lake; you can have       a good hiking adventure along the Lanier Falls Trail. Holiday Lake gets a large amount of water; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April. Holiday Lake Upper is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Deep River. For you golfers we recommend close by Sanford Golf Course; a quick spree to Persimmon Creek is positively a good idea. This lake is so wonderful.                  Quality Inn Sanford is a fine spot to get some rest, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Bear Creek. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Holiday Lake. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Of Sanford is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Campbell Creek Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. At Holiday Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
