Sure, Sapphire Lake is just a very short distance away. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Hogback Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too wonderful to be true. Here at Hogback Lake you'll perhaps meet some folks from Brevard; if you came for an overnight stay Westridge is a magnificent       place to camp. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a wonderful choice; Boneyard Gap is also a perfect location to discover. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuckasegee River; getting to Burlingame Creek from Hogback Lake is easy. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.                  Panther Ridge RV Park and Community is a magnificent campground nearby; a wonderful close by hotel is Old Edwards Inn and Spa. This lake is so wonderful. On a magnificent day at Hogback Lake you can take a hike along the Foothills Trail, and the top of Bald Rock Mountain is easily seen from Hogback Lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Hogback Lake is in the neighborhood of Hogback Dam which is a scenic spot definitely worth checking out, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Red Bird Golf Links is close by. For the period of the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Hogback Lake, and the night is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; night lows at Hogback Lake during the wintertime regularly drop into the 20's. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling close to Hogback Lake is Toxaway River - Upper, and you're most likely interested in lakes, Intermont Lake is one of those nearby.
